چکیده

S u m m a r y : In this contribution we discuss the geometry-free GPS single baseline model and show how the least-squares ambiguities are affected by changes in the stochastic model. We particularly pay attention to the effect of time correlation, cross-correlation and satellite elevation dependence. We also differentiate between the impact on the location of the ambiguity search space and the impact on the size and shape of the search space. The analysis is carried out for both the model in which the ionospheric delays are assumed absent, and for the model in which they are assumed present. The former model is applicable to short baselines only.

Evaluation of the Regularization Algorithm to Decorrelation of Covariance Matrix of Float Ambiguity in Fast Resolution of GPS Ambiguity Parameters

Precise positioning in Real Time Kinematic (RTK) applications depends on the accurate resolution of the phase ambiguities. In RTK positioning, ambiguity parameters are highly correlated, especially when the positioning rate is high. Consequently, application of de-correlation techniques for the accurate resolution of ambiguities is inevitable. Phase ambiguity as positioning observations by the ...

Automatic Georeferencing of Aerial Images Using High- Resolution Stereo Satellite Images

For airborne surveys, direct georeferencing has become the primary source for EOPs (Exterior Orientation Parameters) determination since integrated GPS/INS (Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System) systems were introduced. However, there is still need for alternative indirect georeferencing since there are remote, inaccessible areas that lack a geodetic infrastructure and thus GPS/...

Stochastic Models of Very High-Rate (50 Hz) GPS/BeiDou Code and Phase Observations

In recent years, very high-rate (10–50 Hz) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) has gained a rapid development and has been widely applied in seismology, natural hazard early warning system and structural monitoring. However, existing studies on stochastic models of GNSS observations are limited to sampling rates not higher than 1 Hz. To support very high-rate GNSS applications, we assess ...

Noise Characteristics in High Precision GPS Positioning

In this contribution we present the results of three different studies in which the method of least-squares variance component estimation (LS-VCE) was used to infer the stochastic properties of GPS data. The three studies cover the GPS geometry-free model, the GPS coordinate time series model, and the GPS zero-baseline model. In the GPS geometry-free model, LS-VCE is applied to assess the preci...

Influence of GPS Satellites Cross-Correlation on the TDOA Measurements within the GNSS Environmental Monitoring System (GEMS)

As the importance of GNSS to civilian infrastructure increases, the ability to detect and localise sources of interference that disrupts its operation becomes increasingly important. In order to calculate the time-delay measurements in a Time Difference Of Arrival (TDOA) based localisation system for localising interference to GPS within the GNSS Environmental Monitoring System (GEMS), data col...
